Affordable Housing - Developers Plans

On Saturday 25th May - Deeley Homes, and Rebuild Group/Piper Homes were present at Wootton Wawen Village Hall to showcase their development plans in response to the Housing Needs report completed back in 2022.

An excellent turnout of local residents, and some visitors from further afield, took the opportunity to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the proposal schemes. It is estimated that something in the region of 100 people attended the 4 hour long 'open session'.

The Parish Council must say a huge huge 'thank you' to both developer teams for their time, their input and for being available to answer residents questions.

The feedback from all sides has been very positive. In order to get a feel of local residents thoughts, a paper questionairre was available on the day, however, we did 'run out' before the end of the day. Paper copies can still be requested by emailling the clerk using email [email protected]

Completed forms can be emailled back to the same email, or dropped through the parish council office door (at the rear of the Village Hall). Alternatively an online version is available via Wootton Wawen Affordable Housing Proposal Questionnaire (jotform.com) which can be completed and submitted totally on-line.

CLOSING DATE for submission of comments etc is 8th June 2024 - this is in order to give the council time to collate all the information, in preparation for a future parish meeting discussion.
